How to Make Turmeric Tea
- Boil 4 cups of water.
- Add one teaspoon of the ground turmeric and reduce it to a simmer for just 10 minutes.
- Strain the tea through a very fine sieve into a big cup.
- Add honey and 1 lemon to increase the taste.
- Add a pinch of black pepper to increase the absorption.
Some people also like to add a teaspoon of the ginger along with some turmeric. While the ground versions are more convenient, it’s very worthwhile to experiment with the freshly grated turmeric for a more exciting and vibrant flavor.
