The other night I was in my kitchen preparing for myself the late-night supper when it struck my mind that why I’m not sharing this incredible superfood that I have been using over the years. I’m talking about “turmeric.” There are a lot of uses of turmeric, but in this article, you will read the top 5 benefits of turmeric.

In the morning I woke up and the first thing I did in writing this article about Turmeric. So today through this article I’m going to share incredible benefits of turmeric and listen to this, guys it will blow your mind; there are over 6000 clinical studies proving turmeric to be number one healing herb available today. This herb I bet most of you guys can find in your kitchen has been using it for over 5000 years. And the reason why turmeric is so beneficial cause it contains an active compound called “Curcumin.” Now, you might think why Curcumin is so unique? It is because curcumin is highly anti-inflammatory.

It is obvious how turmeric does it? Turmeric is highly anti-inflammatory.

If you struggle with any chronic joint pain, muscle pain this is the herb you want to go for sure. I see many of my friends struggling with muscle soreness and DOMS, and I always suggest them to go for turmeric.

Drinking turmeric milk delivers impressive results in the reduction of joint pain and inflammation. A glass of warm turmeric milk also relieve stress and makes you relaxed.
Just put one teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk. Add ½ teaspoon of honey and stir. Drink one glass of turmeric milk every day to get the best results.

  1. Try My Way: Late Night Supper.
  2. You can use turmeric as a sprinkler for salad, burger or veggies.
  3. You guys can always add in the meals you cook.
  4. And the easy way, you can always go for in capsules form. 500-1000 mg a day will do great for you.

Recipe for Late Night Supper:

  • 2 cups of unsweetened almond milk (or you can also use regular milk)
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • 1/2-1 TBSP turmeric powder
  • Now mix these ingredients while heating and stirring.
  • Now take it off the heat and pour in the blender.
  • In the blender add 1/2 TSP Reishi, 1/2 TSP Cordyceps, 1/2 Ashwagandha, 1/2 TSP Cinnamon, 1 TSP Maple Syrup
  • Now blend until mixed well

Risks and warnings

Turmeric is safe for consumption. But, when turmeric is taken in large doses more than is typically consumed, it may cause some side effects. As I told you there is a highly active substance in Turmeric: “Curcumin” which can do more harm then good if taken in high dosage. A high dosage is typically considered above 4 grams of curcumin daily. (Difference between Curcumin and Turmeric)

Side effects may include:

Regularly consuming large amounts of turmeric may cause liver problems.

If you have gallbladder disease, you should avoid turmeric. It may get you in trouble. Consult the doctor before using turmeric in such cases.
