Life is beautiful, but everyone is blindly running the race for money. Most of us often make life hell by wrongly investing money. We buy things we don’t need with money we don’t have to impress people we don’t like. Everyone neglects things that look too small to pay attention but can cause problems later on. Today in this article I’m going to tell you Top 5 things to spend money on
1. Relaxation (Shoes, Mattress, and Pillow.)
First things first. No compromise with Comfort. Your body should be relaxed to work properly. Take Proper rest. Stress causes a hell lot of problems for your body. High blood pressure, headaches, muscle tension, ulcers, and weakened immune system are just a few of the many health issues stress can cause. Relaxation is crucial in effectively managing stress and anxiety. Stress is not only caused by mental problems such as workload or some other issues but also from the physical problem as its same body. If our body is not physically comfortable or relaxed it causes stress in the brain and our muscles/body won’t work as expected. It will make the body vulnerable to many diseases. So, today I will talk about mainly 3 Things as I find people not spending much money on them but they should.
Buy good quality shoes as you will wear shoes every day and having poor quality shoes causes Poor Foot Health. They cause pain in your whole body including back pain, muscle spasms, spinal discs breaking down, headaches, and joint problems. And after that in the night while asleep if you are not getting relaxed properly, things will get worse. Spend little extra to buy a high-quality shoe which will always keep your foot stress-free and in good health.
-Mattress and Pillow
So, there comes the role of a good mattress and pillow. The body needs relaxation from every physical or mental pressure caused by your school, college, job or any other work. The body needs its rest, and sleep is essential for healthy living. If your bed isn’t comfortable, you won’t be able to relax properly, and your body will remain tired. So, good quality mattress and pillow are essential to spend money.
Cheap Food = Cheap Ingredients (Not for every food).
Junk Food = High on calorie but low in essential nutrients.
We should avoid both of them.
Cheap food and Junk food may attract you as who wants to spend money?
So, Why do we need to spend more on food?
It often comes with
-Cheap ingredients, which are not much nutritious.
-Less nutritional value
-Quality is poor
-The packaging is crap
– Poorly fried or cooked and have lots of cholesterol.
Cheap foods are usually made in poor conditions to minimize processing or production costs. You need to stop spending on some foods just because they are cheap. You pay for Cheap Food, Street Foods, Happy Meals, Junks, Softdrinks just because they are cheap and tasty (of course), but that’s not good for health and will make you obese and sick.
The only thing that causes obesity is excessive caloric intake. If you’re eating too many calories, you’re going to gain weight, regardless of what you’re eating.
Some Problems created by consuming Junk Food daily:
-All causes of death (mortality)
-Osteoarthritis (a breakdown of cartilage and bone within a joint)
-High LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, or high levels of triglycerides (Dyslipidemia)
-Type 2 diabetes
-Coronary heart disease
-High blood pressure (Hypertension)
-Sleep apnea and breathing problems
-Some cancers (endometrial, breast, colon, kidney, gallbladder, and liver)
-Low quality of life
-Mental illness such as clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders
-Body pain and difficulty with physical functioning (Source)
The mass production of food is one of the worst things when it comes to processed foods and the chemicals and preservatives that are used in them. Fast food is calorically dense food, which means that it will put more weight on you than the food that you prepare at home or fresher food options.
Simply spend on healthy food like green vegetables or fruits. It may shake your monthly budget, but it’s worth it. It’s better to spend a little extra on quality food than spending huge for recovering from diseases later on.
3. Health Checkup
The topmost neglected thing in INDIA or maybe many other countries. We always underestimate the value of regular health checkups. Health checkups are necessary for diagnosing the early stage of diseases which can be cured easily. Several diseases like cancer or even symptoms of a heart attack if diagnosed in the early stage can be prevented from causing significant damage or death. According to health news, the survival rate for stage 1 cancer is 100%, and stage 2 cancer is 93% curable. Health checkups help to find how someone’s body is working. Is it working normally or not.
Due to high pollution and food contamination, it’s hard to know if someone is sick or suffering from a disease. Many people argue that Health Checkups are expensive, but they fail to notice the value of health checkups.
There are some tests you should go through:

4. Fitness or Gym Membership
So, Do I really need to explain the need and benefits of Fitness/Exercising and gym?
But you may use a lack of motivation or inspiration and time management problem as an excuse for not going to Gym or Exercising or even excuses something like gym membership is too much costly.
“No one has ever achieved anything when they let motivation drive their efforts. They succeeded because of discipline”.
Nothing is more important than your health. I want to say that it’s your brain that needs to be trained first than the body. Some people say they don’t get time for exercise or gym. They need to realize making excuses, never made histories. Just start going to the gym or doing exercises at home and never skip. It takes 21 days to make up a habit and 90 days to make it a Lifestyle. You can also read 7 Tips to remember for Healthy Living.
Just remember Never go 3 Days without Exercise.
The medical literature tells us that the most effective ways to reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and many more problems are through a healthy diet and exercise. Our bodies have evolved to move, yet we now use the energy in oil instead of muscles to do our work.
What do you think spending money on the gym membership is waste? But I guess no. If you can go jogging or can go for the long walk daily and exercise daily, you don’t need any gym membership.
“Best things in life aren’t things.” It’s not all about work, work, and work.
